Been a little while, some results, etc

I've not posted in over a week. To be honest, I was discouraged. Last Thursday, I stepped on the scale and it said a pound gain.

This week, I stepped on it again, and saw a 5 pound gain.

I knew it couldn't be right. I did some measurements. I've LOST 4.5 inches off my neck, waist and hips!

So, yeah. I stepped on the other scale I have and it confirmed my weight loss suspicions. I've lost another 8 pounds!

I'm almost at 20 down and feeling great.

Cardio today was the easiest it's been in a while. Clothes fit better. I'm able to keep my stamina up, most of the time.

I'm thinking about doing couch to 5k to supplement this workout routine.

Wish me luck.

Week 5 up to day 6.

It's been a rough week.

I started out sick on Monday, and didn't have much motivation this week, though I did mow yesterday.

I'm hoping to have positive results tomorrow, I'll let you all know for sure.

I thought it best to post something, since I've not in a while.

Over and out.

Week 4, Days 6 - 7... Results!

Another fun-filled week has passed.

I'm ill, which sucks, but I have good news...

I've lost 3.2 pounds! That totals 11 for my new go at it!

That means that I get to cross off a goal!

Back to the standard 3 week rotation next week... looking forward to it.

Oh, and 80 degrees today :) When I have to mow my lawn (less :) )....

Feeling a lot better already, clothes are fitting better than recently.

Can't wait to lose more!

Week 4 - Days 1-5

I hate rest weeks.

I hate them with a passion, the passion of a million burning suns.

I get so turned around that I often forget which work out I'm supposed to be doing.

Thankfully, Friday starts another week, and I'll be back on the horse in terms of knowing what to do.

Also, I hate being sick. Because I am right now.

Blech.

Another week, more results!

Yet another week has passed.

Looking forward to getting out to mow today, which will be exciting, but not as exciting as this:

I'm down another 2 pounds for this week!

That brings my weight loss to 7.6 pounds total.

I'm going to push for 3 pounds dropped next week so I can get my steak dinner on ;)

I'm already starting to notice my clothes fitting better, and I'm able to keep my breath longer during certain activities...

It's a great time, and it's starting to get nicer out, so I'm looking forward to being outside more.

Now where was I? (Week 3, Days 2 - 5)

So, I'm at something like 19 days and really enjoying all of this!

I am trying to find something to sub in for yoga that'll fit what I'm trying to do. It's probably going to be another round of cardio at this point.

I ran into this problem the last time with P90X.

I'm just not motivated to do Yoga, it's probably the hardest routine for me. I'm not very coordinated, and my balance is pretty terrible so I spend as much time getting up as I do in some of the poses.

Everything else, though, is going awesomely.

Kicking butt in Core, Loving shoulders and arms... Even excited about legs and back, though I am so wobbly when I'm done. And then there's Kenpo (but that's tomorrow) <3 .="" p="">
Anyways, I wanted to update, to keep current on everything going on with my work outs. No injuries to date, but I've not been able to mow my lawn yet this week, so that'll be an added bonus soon.

Keep on keepin' on!

Day 15 (Week 3, Day 1)

Core Synergistics this morning.

Had a harder time getting to it than usual, but still pushed play. I'm getting psyched about getting to 40 lbs, which is a good motivator. My pants fit a lot nicer today than this time last week, so that's another :D

I think, given that I have about 16 weeks to drop the next 35lbs, that I should be able to make it. Good news for my friend Taylor who wants to see me at Gen Con.

I want to start supplementing the morning work out with something in the afternoon, but I'm not sure what. I like to walk, so that'll probably be part of it (weather permitting) until I get to running - which I've wanted to do, but never had 1) the courage to try or 2) the wherewithal to keep it up. So, I've got to wrack my brain for other ideas.

Enjoy the day, we're getting a little liquid sunshine.
